Horrible People

I have been really happy since we moved down to Devon. On the whole everyone has been really friendly.................until today :nonono:

The house we are renting has a garage (stuffed full of the bits we can't fit into our small house), a drive and a parking space in the garden.

When hubbie looked at the house he thought we would be allowed to use said parking space but the landlord put a padlock on the gate so we can't <_<

Hubbie parks his car on the drive (it's bigger than mine  ) and I park my car outside our house on the road. The people across the road have a garage and drive but choose to park next to our house. I'm not too bothered about this, so long as I can park my car as well.

Tonight I arrived back from school with little people. I opened the door for little fella to be shouted at from the neighbour's window "can you not park outside MY house", "my husband can't park his car", "you can fit 2 cars on your drive" She got really abusive but I just replied that we can't fit 2 cars on our drive (she can)

Now I parked on the opposite side of the road from her house (there were cars near our door), the guy next door to her parks there all the time rather than walk the 20 seconds to his drive :nonono: Little fella is now really scared to go outside because of the "nasty woman shouting  "

I'm looking forward to moving to our permenant house

OMG............it's Friday the 13th

I hate it when people are just plain unreasonable without even discussing things first. If she had a problem withwhat you were doing she could at least have had the decency to come and talk calmly about it. And in front of little ones... silly old bat

I think she is younger than me  She has a little boy who is about 15 months but I hear them shouting all the time  Not nice for the little guy :nonono:

Hopefully we will not have to deal with them for very much longer

At least you want have to be there for too long, but there was no need for her to shout in front of the little ones. The day we moved into this house, we were unloading the car, it was raining and our next door neighbour told us we couldn't park there, we couldn't park any further forward than the plant pot, otherwise they could not swing into their drive.
