Dispite my advancing years I still have a baby tooth (new one never grew)It's been causing me lots of bother recently and I had to go back to the Dentist today. Events tried very hard to prevent me getting there. Broken down lorry on Sutton Bank and Diesel spill :) Then gridlock on White Horse Bank. Got there 10 mins late but still not too late to have root canal treatment :) He didn't manage to get all the stuff out so I have a "temporary" dressing (looks like a bit of chewing gum to me) and have to go back in a week or so for the final verdict :) Save it or lose it and have a Bridge :) Anyway, I was going to take Mum-in-law out for a meal tonight to say thank you for looking after little man for the last two weeks but it's a Tesco Takeaway curry instead (easy to chew) Bought some nice Ice cream as my treat for going to the dentist (old family tradition that you get a treat after a visit to dentist that I like to maintain :) )Oh well, at least it's the weekend :)

Oooh poor you! I hate dentists. have to go in June to have wisdom teeth out, they are impacted and every so often a lump falls off! crunchy! also the rooms are tiny and I am claustrophobic so they leave the door open :lol: at least I get to wave at the other patients as they go past :blink:

I don't have any wisdom teeth (it speaks volumes :rolleyes: )

I had a really bad experience a few years back with a new dentist that has now left me a bit shaky about going but the current dentist is good. I had to go private but it's on that Denplan thing where you pay twenty quid a month and nothing else. No bad if I have to have a bridge as that would cost tons.

Also, when I was 5 I got my front teeth knocked out on the Dodgems and they didn't grow new ones for a couple of years - hence I don't like smiling as a rule (except when there is a large glass of wine in front of me :unsure: ) :lol:
