I also realise I need a balaclava (sp) dispite having my hood up on my very wind/waterproof coat on, my poor cheeks took a battering of wind/rain/salt and are now very red and sore

Was worth it though, certainly blew a few cobwebs away. Tons of surfers/canoeists around this afternoon...........nutters

LOL Katie, brings back memories of when my bro worked in a hotel there. We went down to the beach one stormy night and the waves were awesome .
