We bought a freezer when we were in the Cotswolds and it seemed to work ok. It was in storage for 6 months then we installed it at the new Devon residence. It is less than 2 years old.

Since we have been here it has developed a weird clicky thing. It started off as the odd click but has progressed to constant clicking. We have tried to work out what is wrong with it and it seems that the thermostat is f****d and will cost almost as much to fix as to buy a new freezer.

This week I have been driven to the edge of my sanity with this manic clicking and have tonight given in and bought a new freezer online

My only saving grace is that it will probably save us money on the electricity it was using going to -24c on it's weird clicky trips
