The White Stuff

A dry, cold and frosty start from Melton Mowbray with patchy high cloud.

Light snow flurries started north of Newark (Nottinghamshire) becoming heavier around the Retford and Bawtry areas. Light snow covering observed in these areas. From the Hambleton (North Yorkshire) area into York snow became heavier with large flakes and a 1cm covering in places.
