TUE: Morning Stars
Welcome to my Blog, bringing you my weather observations through North East Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, North Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and into the City of York during my daily commute from Melton Mowbray, by car and train
Tuesday 8th January 2008:
Morning Stars
A dry start to the day in Melton Mowbray with high cloud, no wind, not feeling too cold and plenty of stars visible during the drive to Grantham. As the train trundled north the cloud began to build with light rain by the time the train reached the North Nottinghamshire/South Yorkshire border. On arrival into York the cloud had broken up with some morning sun breaking through. However I notice now looking out of the office window, some 30 minutes later the cloud cover has increased and it looks like rain is on the way.
Tomorrow; will there be any wind damage by morning?
