WED: A Still and Patchy Sky.

Welcome to my Blog, bringing you my weather observations through North East Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, North Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and into the City of York during my daily commute from Melton Mowbray, by car and train.

Wednesday 23rd January 2008:

A Still and Patchy Sky.

High patchy cloud across Melton Mowbray this morning. Although not really mild it was certainly frost free. Similar conditions throughout the commute to York with the sun breaking through the high cloud.

On crossing the River Aire near Templehirst I noticed the water is still spilling over the banks and pouring into the flood plain.

Tomorrow; Could be showery with some hail?
