Welcome to my Blog, bringing you my weather observations through North East Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, North Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and into the City of York during my daily commute from Melton Mowbray, by car and train.

Friday 7th March 2008:

Sunny weather breaks through.

Melton Mowbray 06:30hrs 6.7'C

Overcast and dull in Melton Mowbray this morning with a fresh breeze and evidence of some overnight precipitation. During the drive to Grantham there was a much duller interlude with some quite heavy rain around Waltham but apart from that it has been a clearing theme. The sun broke through between Retford and Bawtry and on arrival into York this morning, the sun is out.

Temperature at 06:30 was 6.7'C, lowest recorded overnight temperature 5.4'C. Pressure at 06:30 was 997 hPa

The Weekend & Next Week: Sunshine and showers, severe gales on Monday!
