Fog?

Well, where did that come from?

I thought more rain was on the cards this morning, but I started my commute from Melton Mowbray in fog. It was quite thick driving to Grantham past the Waltham TV Mast but it soon cleared to a great sunny spring morning the nearer to Grantham I got.

Today I am heading south to London so as I write this on board the train it's a bright sunny morning here in Peterborough with a little more cloud cover than further north.

Temperature at 06:30 was 5.4'C, lowest recorded overnight temperature minus 2.3'C. Pressure at 06:30 was 990 hPa

Tomorrow: Rain and a southerly wind.
