Sunshine after the Rain.

Melton Mowbray 06:30hrs 7.4'C

Very heavy rain in Melton Mowbray last night but this morning all was dry. There was plenty of high cloud cover which blocked out the sun during the commute to Grantham by car. Once on board the train the sun burned through the cloud and once north of Doncaster it has been clear and sunny all the way.

Tomorrow: A repeat performance; rain overnight drying out by dawn…
