Is there not a student support officer or something similar that you can go and see? Or have a word with your Tutor. I didn't go to uni but have worked in a College and know that they will do anything to help and keep you there.

It's tough being away from home but stick with it, I'm sure you are feeling the same as loads of people on your course.
