Had a busy weekend, went to the Magna Centre in Sheffield on Saturday.I've never been to Sheffield before and whilst Sheffield itself is a bit industrialised the surrounding countryside is beautiful 
The Magna Centre is a Science park set inside an old Steel works. It was huge, humongus, massive, you name it, it was huge 
Inside you go along dark walkways suspended within the old Steel works. It looked like a film set for Ridley Scott and I half expected an Alien to pop up somewhere As little fella called it "the scary place" The highlight for little fella was the Water zone, with lots of hands on stuff to enjoy as well as educational things like how locks on canals work (hubbie had to explain, as I kept flooding the boat )My favorite thing was the fire vortex in the Fire zone. Imagine a tornado going upwards rather than down but made of fire I have some photo but am struggling to get them onto the computer 
Today has been a bit quieter, boring housework etc Got to go and have my kidney scanned tomorrow, which hopeully will be ok :o
