Guest weather09 Posted January 16, 2012 Good capture(s) there. Looks like a [developing] wall cloud - certainly looks like there were low LCLs that day, and plenty of surface moisture too, I'd say. On your other pic the cloud looks like it's rotating. Though obviously can't know given that it's a still, and I don't know what the conditions were like at the time.
Sprites 2,618 Posted January 17, 2012 its from 21st August 2000 8pm ish, i was excited when this loomed over the houses opposite...,not sure if this was outflow meeting a sea-breeze front,as i did notice weak rotation from left to right, there was a waterspout off cleethorpes on this day too.
