Sewards Farm Machinery

I had to go here for a spare part so flew the Phantom alongside the A1 briefly.
The early mist was lingering here not so far from the Pennines, west of Thirsk and The Swale.

The site started up in the coal yard of SInderby station which was on the long-gone line between Harrogate and Northallerton

You can still just make out the platform edge - not in the yard but by the driveway.
The station buildings were becoming derelict and in 2010 the adjacent A1 was widened; the embankment partly covers their foundations.
