The longest Pier in the world

Progresso Pier, Yucatan, on the Gulf on Mexico, at 6km the longest Pier in the world, taken in early February 2005. This allows cruise liners to visit on tuesdays and thursdays, when another wise pleasant colonial port gets invaded by American tourists for 2-3 hours.
