  1. Here's a couple of screen shots from some footage I took with my phone last night, looking over Brighton. Had a number of storms pass through from about 9:30pm - 3:00am.
  2. Looks like I'm in the perfect position to miss everything Might be worth sticking on eurosport if you have it, London to surrey cycling, going to get hit shortly
  3. Frequent lightnig to my east and possibly a couple of quiet rumbles. Looks pretty stationary on radar though
  4. Couple of flashes to my west and a deep booming rumble. Surprised I can hear it considering how far away it is
  5. can see a very defined wall cloud and near constant thunder now The leading edge looks like something from the US plains! Very defined!
  6. Not here quite yet, was in reference to the recent lightning over surrey south west london. I reckon it won't be long before we'll see flickers to the south http://www.lightningmaps.org/realtime?lang=de check out this lightning detector
  7. Anyone got an explanation for why we're seeing these thunderstorms so far east? Is it just a case of the unpredictability of plume events?
  8. What about last July? Had the best storm I've seen in years whilst I was on holiday in Swanage.
  9. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post but what sort of temperatures are likely to be seen on the south coast, Bournemouth area in particular next week. Gfs indicating temps of up to 30 around Southampton mid week..
