  1. Well for my tuppence worth you have to remember that forecasting the weather is not a exact science. The MO did not get it wrong, they did not even know. Remember they only predict what could happen, not what will happen. Thats all predicting is, using the computer and seeing what it says.
  2. Well they did say over the next few days and into next week. As was just posted, still plenty of Winter to come.
  3. Would be great if that blob comes across. Big downgrade from BBC on radio just now. Not much to come for our area, including SE, but heavy snow predicted for Pennines/ North Yorkshire. Also a thaw setting in over Eastern Britain.
  4. I was really hoping for something special for us this weekend but looks like we will be disappointed. Time for a cuppa.
  5. Good morning. That big blob will probably break up or track SE. Of course I hope it doesn't but we shall see.
  6. Well time for bed I think. Cannot see anything happening tonight. Here's to hoping.
  7. Another blob forming in the North Sea. Wonder if this will do anything.
  8. Looks bleak. Nothing coming our way at the moment. Will check again in a hour but not hoping for anything at the mo, but I will keep faith with some of the posts on here forecasting snow tonight.
  9. Spot on my friend. That is exactly what is happening now. Thank you.
  10. Could anybody please explain why it is getting warmer when there is a biting Easterly coming across? I do not understand this being a rank novice.
  11. Looking at this http://www.buienradar.nl/ That lump is heading to the South East.
  12. News 24 weather just now. Heavy snow for us all Tonight, Tomorrow and Monday. Mind you we knew that anyway
