    I moved from Hetfordshire to Colorado 5 months ago, love the weather here, although it didn't get above -15 Celsius today !!

    Why oh why oh why.....we get 2 days of decent weather and then straight back to this rubbish. Gladly my family and I are moving next year to Colorado which has real weather!

    We have quite heavy snow falling here in Ware, only small amount settled but it's coming down fast

    I've come from work (Hatfiedl) which has about 6cm to home (Ware) which has about 3cm....quite a difference for not mre than 15 miles or so

    After what turned out to be a fairly lame attempt at a decent snow day, can we in Herts expect anything better for Friday onwards? If the model thread is correct then even some of the notorious non-rampers are ramping up the potential on the horizon.

    Just saw a post in the model thread stating that Monday, the home counties will receive rain from a warm sector ? is that true?

    I'm an avid watcher and that's it. My forecasting knowledge is non existent, but after following this tread for a couple of years I have worked out a good forecasting technique: if it's winter and the models show an easterly or a pronged cold spell- it will change for the worse .....there's my forecast lol
