    Beefy showers developing inland (far inland too) over Suffolk now... phase 2 is starting Not expecting much more here in Chelmsford, but would be nice to see a top-up!

    Nice selection of showers grouping together over East Suffolk heading into Colchester then Chelmsford shortly. These one's should reach Eastern parts of London around 10.15 pm

    Clear signs of showers dying away over East Anglia now. Kent still looks ok but has this ended earlier then forecasts suggest?

    Nice covering of snow here in Danbury now. Excellent snowstorm a few minutes ago, 40mph gusts and blowing snow! Come on!!

    Talking of iPhones, have you seen the iPhone radar app? There is a free version or a pro for £2.99 a year (link) Nothing to do with me but have used it and it's not bad, 5 min/1km resolution and all that.

    Looking like a more organised band of light snow is forming over Essex moving SSW. Bit of a thaw today, but to be expected in the current flow.

    Well Rob seems confident on the 'warm front' bringing snow from now until about 5am across Kent, Essex and Sussex. Radar currently says NO.

    Just had a stroll up to the A414 and its crawling along with a lot of snow on the road. You should be OK but lots more snow to the NE moving through in the next 90 minutes.
