Surprisingly it has been snowing on and off all day. More of a sleety mix recently -
Snizzle in Poole but I've come to work early to see any snow, as I sit in my car. Some bigger flakes as I type, I'm thinking it will be sleety soon looking at the radar

Lots of lightning in the channel heading towards the coast. Just had a rumble in Poole, I'm hoping we get a good storm!

Good rumbles of thunder. Shame it's not lasting with some lightning Still, we have rather been storm starved here so anything is better than nothing

Came here to look at temps for today. I think it was the hottest yet? @Dorsetbred 31c+? It certainly felt like it in Poole today. No relief from any breeze today. It was an oppressive heat. Sorry folks but hoping for a bit of a cool down. Work was very unpleasant+++

All rain with a rare bit of sleet. I hate battleground chances. They are either incredibly short lived or don't come off. The mild air just wins so close to the channel. Roll on spring! Lol

I never have high expectations since the "it's definitely going to snow" a few years ago and the ppn sat in the channel. Battleground northerlies are a curse here

Thunder and lightning was it forecast? Not complaining, just taking the dog out and it started. It's stopped now though I think?

I can't believe it. Where I live is a skating rink. The roads and pavements are covered in ice. Definitely an ice day here

I'm on a thunder high. Lots of flashes, one big one and a huge crack of lightening. Not very intense as yet

Interesting about the trees. Torrential rain here at the moment

The trees are changing fast, seems faster than normal and there's quite a lot of leaves falling, especially conker trees
