Lovely to see many reply s thanks everyone.
I have quite a few phobias I am also scared of snow storms, this only started in the last few years.
Just feel that if it is a total white out that some how the snow will get on all the doors and windows and suffocate us all.
My eldest son is weather mad and has a weather machine in the garden. He is always on weather forums
He loved yesterday as he was in the city that had it worse then me 10 miles away in a village he come back and told me how wonderful it all was.
Talking about watching thunder bolts and all sorts he so loves it and so wants to go abroad and chase a tornado.
I have had therapy about my phobias but at the end of the day I think it has to come from me.
But my therapist did say with the thunder storm phobia there really is real danger involved as people and houses have been struck so it is not all in my mind like maybe my other phobia are.
Thick blindfold and headphones with loud music seems a good idea and something I am going to do at the next storm.
