Power just went off for 30 seconds there. Don't think it will last long.

Blizzard conditions here now and the snow is becoming drier and starting to lie everywhere. Lights are also flickering every so often so i don't know whether the power is gonna stay on later on. Temp is 0.4 and dropping. The BBC forecast was brilliant - 40cm possible!! The drifts are gonna be massive!

Heavy sleet here near West Linton which is turning whiter and whiter. I'm hoping im in the right area here and we're at 230m asl so do people think thats in the upland catagory. If thats the case metoffice say we could get 30-50cm. That would be an amazing end to winter.

Hi everyone. It's been very cold here in West Linton today. Minimum temp last night was -18.7 with a maximum today of -6.3. The temperature tonight is dropping like a stone with my weather station saying its already -16.9. We've got 14 inches of snow which is the most snow i have seen here in my 19 years so far. This has been a brilliant cold spell and i am loving it!

I'm not exactly sure about Peebles but here in West Linton(12 miles away) theres a foot of level snow with more falling so theres got to be quite a few inches in Peebles. Hope this is useful
