  1. Afraid I'm not using the SD card feature. I upload to ecowitt.net and weatherunderground - I'm kind of hoping they keep the data for me forever
  2. It just turned up, put batteries in, left switch on back set to 1 (can be 1, 2 or 3) and immediately it appeared on the console screen and on the Ecowitt site! Cheers, Steve
  3. So I'm enjoying this but I want to add a couple extra sensors - the model I have says 868Mhz, where do I get a WH31 that works on 868MHz? There's this MISOL 868Mhz Sensor (spare part) for Wireless?Weather?Station, temperature, humidity: Amazon.co.uk: Garden & Outdoors WWW.AMAZON.CO.UK Great prices on your favourite Gardening brands, and free delivery on eligible orders. but its delivery is Jan 7 - 25. Edit found this on Amazon and one review states "works great with my watson 8686 station" so I'll try it VLIKE WH32N Wireless Outdoor Temperature and Hygrometer Sensor Weather Station Transmitter for VL2810 Series Weather Station: Amazon.co.uk: Garden & Outdoors WWW.AMAZON.CO.UK Great prices on your favourite Gardening brands, and free delivery on eligible orders.
  4. That was extremely easy to set up! Liking it so far, just need to find a better mount than cable tying to my decking
  5. It just turned up so it's a quick enough service from Nevada Radio! Hopefully I'll get a chance to play with it in the next couple of days.
  6. Just ordered one of these from Nevada Radio too. My old Maplin weather station I got for £50 about 10 years ago is really playing up these days! Can't wait to start playing with this :)
  7. Ah no sorry, just checked. Updating now!
  8. Had a couple of these alerts today... but the radar (and my eyes looking out the window) says otherwise!
  9. I've just changed my password to one over 8 characters and it now logs in fine!
  10. Yes I am a monthly Extra subscriber though not yearly if it makes any difference
  11. Hi, I can't even log in - just tells me 'Error: Both username and password must be entered' (Nexus 5X, Android 7.1) Cheers, Steve
  12. Back to weather - love the temp graph from my garden today... guess what time the rain arrived:
  13. That squall line fell to bits as it hit here as per usual - was looking forward to some interesting weather. I've had my 4x4 a year now and still waiting for its first trip in the snow - I hope it comes
  14. Here it is! Feel sorry for the people out watching fireworks... at least the cat and baby might sleep now though!
  15. Still hovering about 5'C here in my back garden, no fog yet... Cat's been missing all evening though scared stiff somewhere due to the fireworks
  16. Miserable day here too - just over half an inch of rain and now under 8'C. At least the wind's stopped.
  17. Rain's almost here - the intensity seems to have weakened somewhat though... it always does as it crosses London PS: Hi all - been away from these forums for a good few months, thought it was about time to come back, especially as the weather's starting to get interesting again All that hot nice weather is so boring!
  18. Nothing like a bit of gardening to clear up the hangover! I've got cuts all over me from the rose bush monster though Seems to have become a touch breezier out so doesn't feel as warm as a few hours ago... just waiting for the sun to poke it's head out! Decided to check the state of the BBQ as we've decided to have one tomorrow and oh my god it's covered in mould and is vile! Obviously wasn't cleaned last time it was used many many months ago Got the old jet wash on it and it's fine now though Have a good weekend all!
  19. Cheapest chain of places to get a battery from is http://www.eurocarparts.com/ - bargain compared to the likes of Halfords! Wind's starting to get up here now, heavy rain seems a little way off yet looking at the radar...
  20. Yeah I'm thinking the same now - I walked out into the conservatory earlier in the glorious sunshine completely forgetting it's like 5'C outside and was annoyed I couldn't go sit in the sun with a beer. You watch though, I'll still be lamppost watching within 3 seconds of hearing there's a chance of seeing a flake of snow!
  21. I got 9.9mm today. Fuming at the moment as someone's parked in our driveway parking space. Well technically the driveway it belongs to UK Power Networks, but we own the land next to it and behind it and the house opposite it has guided someone into it. It's directly outside my front door - they've parked infront of the bins here (old Google streetview) https://www.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=ss6+9tl&aq=&sll=51.79671,0.638411&sspn=1.314759,3.034973&vpsrc=6&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Rayleigh+SS6+9TL,+United+Kingdom&ll=51.591028,0.58272&spn=0.000002,0.001482&t=h&z=20&iwloc=A&layer=c&cbll=51.591028,0.58272&panoid=QVKUB_fJhKOP1dNRHFAB9g&cbp=12,286.26,,0,17.67 I can't do much about it (certainly can't damage anything!) but I have lifted the car's wipers so they know I've touched it.
  22. Same here - there are still some streetlights on on my street directly North of me so unless I go back out in the car (which I can't be arsed to cos I'm tired and it's freezing out!) I can't see anything. Can't see anything from the back garden either. Very lively weather over Guernsey at the moment on the radar!
