I notice a thaw happening here and with rain on its way possibly Sunday wash it all away. I did look at the type of precipitation on the charts for next week, I know its estimation but for the SE of the country looks to be white again from tuesday onwards ....
Wasn't too bad today we got about 3 - 5 cm in places, it snowed from about 6am - 12.30 pm but the small stuff had a decent covering. Putting a pic up in the gallery ....
Edit, picture wont upload to gallery site
Well whoever gets snow have fun, it dont bode well from where I am, radar reading makes it look like its diminishing towards S E London ... http://www.raintoday.co.uk/#key
So there's a possibility of heavy snowfall in S E London if the PPN keeps tracking across the south to east ... Still trying my best to learn meteorology ...
Had no snow here, its just receeding atm, bits of snow here and there, hmmm I wonder could it be a repeat performance of last Tuesday's heavy snow fall ??? Oh well work bekons .....
Wow I know its touch n go on this but do you guys really think London is gonna get hit with a heavy precipitation event ?? Anything positive about this ?
Heavy snow here atm, but doesn't look like it will last judging by the radar , thought there maybe a Thames streamer .... never know maybe more coming from Belgium/France possibly ...
Oh well logging off, up for work early
gnite all
I sympathise with you here even though I love snow but hate the cold ( sounds backward ) I'm a council worker and out in it all day ( sweeper/driver ) so gritting I don't mind its the sweeping that get on ya t***s!!
Hmm after looking out my window by the lamplight it looks like sleet/rain but if that blob comes over this way ( currently hitting Margate as rain ) if our dewpoint is low we should get snow hopefully ...
