  1. Enjoy it Mate thrashing it down here
  2. Very Very Unlucky Markyo and again today after a few hours of sun this morning here comes the rain I wouldn’t rate this summer at all as I’m still waiting for it to start, ok we had 2 1/2 half weeks of glorious weather in June but since then we haven’t had 2 consecutively sunny days. Total Crap Really..
  3. Just the constant stream of showers we’ve been under for the last 3 hours
  4. and 48hrs later the Tropical Island of Maui is on fire..
  5. Sorry, yes meant to say Aerosols and Particulate’s from Human activities
  6. Cleaned the air too much ? Surely those aerosols were put there by human activity.
  7. It seems humanity struggles to do anything without having a destructive effect on the Natural Enviroment and Biodiversity
  8. ironically it’s the poor of the third world who have contributed the least to ACC yet are likely to suffer the worst effects in the short to medium term..
  9. Where I am in Pensford we had 7cm at midday before the snow turned to rain, down to about 3cm in a rapid thaw
  10. It’s the rock salt they spread on the roads when there’s any danger of a frost, useful when wet surfaces freeze but totally useless when it’s been as dry as it has lately, I’m surprised the environmental lobby haven’t jumped on its use as it’s terrible for the environment
  11. and still moderate snow haha although smaller flakes now 25cm level in the garden and 29cm on top the wheel barrow out of the wind what an amazing event who said we shouldn’t expect much snow in the glorious south west
  12. Well I’m glad to say it didn’t go Bust, this is best snowfall I’ve witnessed in Pensford since 2009 and it keeps on coming 20cm perched on the fence over 20 on the patio
  13. Long time lurker here, Usually to be found at home in Pensford north Somerset but had to get away from the endless grey sky's, Lucky enough to fly down to the Caribbean on Monday and was gobsmacked to find total cloud cover from Anglesey until well southwest of the Bahamas!!!! Thats 3500 plus nautical miles without even a tiny break in the clouds, and i was looking!! is that unusual?? The last five hundred miles before the cloud broke, they were solid to 40000' that seems like one hell of a cauldron of convection. Hopefully the monotony will break soon but im not holding my breath.... Jaz
