  1. Lightning has died off quickly but impressive skies at dusk for sure.
  2. Currently on the way up the A1 south Grantham, big flashes looks impressive.
  3. Wow, I said we had hail yesterday, the 2 minute burst we just had was absolutely crazy, fairly sizeable. Impressive ice build up in the drains.
  4. Flooding and road closures in the usual areas here sadly, which usually lasts a while and brings with it some pretty rubbish traffic. Thankfully the upcoming dry spell should help. What a grim few weeks it's been weather wise.
  5. Looks very serious if that comes off. Given the defences in Sheffield we'll be worried here downstream about the impact. The river level for Doncaster only goes out predicted 36 hrs where it's currently predicted to be the highest ever. Let's hope that is wrong. If those levels come off it could be disastrous for the area.
  6. It's unbelievable, I don't recall ever seeing lightning as frequent as this here. Night storms are great for this as the thunder isn't particularly loud given it's not on top of me.
  7. Been watching a cell grow out the window wasn't expecting it to electrif but it's all took off as the radar shows.
  8. Looks class shooting up from here at sunset, flashes in there too.
  9. Pretty constant thunder passing north of here. This my view north west ish (excuse the window).
  10. Well that killed the outdoor fun Big bangs and big drops, could build quite quickly east of here.
  11. Showers training just east of me, look impressive out the window, probably only 3-4 miles away.
  12. Went out to the coast with the fam. We dodged the rain but on the way home could see how localised it was which always fascinated me even now. Did see the cell over Beverley way on the way back but too far away and didn't look much to the eye.
