  1. Okay, at the moment I'm living in Inverness, HL, Scotland. We get about a good 12 or so inches every year (approx. 32cm). But where I'm moving; Toronto, Canada; the city receives over 55 inches (approx. 140cm) a year. And that's the city centre !! Lake effect snow over that sea would be possible but probably very uncommon; and usually if the winds are blowing from the north; Holland or France would receive it.
  2. Lol, the forecasts have long since changed. But we've had about 5 consecutive days of snowing this week. Snowing today aswell. So ja And if zi think this is a lot of snow; wait till I move to Toronto, Canada next March.
  3. We're expecting our first snow this Friday, and we're going to have an icy weekend with sleet on Saturday night, and Light snowfall on Sunday continuing until monday. We are also expecting temperatures as low as -2C. In the past, we HAVE had October snowfall, but they're very uncommon, and occur every few years, with only a snowfall lasting 2 hours or so, and melting in half an hour. And even if the actual snowfall lasts longer, we still only get 1 snowfall in october if we're lucky. But we're expecting 3 snowfalls, in just over 3 days... I'm excited about our snowy weekend, because I can get my snowboard out after sitting in the closet for 5 months. But I'm NOT looking forward to the cold, and the layer of ice that freezes over the top of snow. But yeah, that's all part of it. Due to this report, I think thos is going to be a cold winter with alot of snow.
  4. We're expecting our first snow this Friday. We'll have some sleet on Saturday night, and light snow showers on Sunday night continuing until Monday! Although we HAVE had October snow here before, it's not very common, and we haven't ever had more than one snow in October. This is new talk, a winter with crappy weather.
  5. We're expecting our first snow here in Inverness on Friday. I think it also said that on Saturday night we'll have some sleet, and Sunday night some light snow showers continuing until Monday. The temperature will also drop to -2C. I'm now absolutely sure that this winter will be bad, considering that we had no snow last October, and that we didn't have any temperatures below 0C. I can't wait for snowboarding in the street. XD
