    XC Weather was showing Crosby, just down the coast from you, at WNW 47-64mph. (at 5am)

    I agree. Yesterday when the Meto had a red warning for 80-90mph gales for the Strathclyde area. they were forcasting steady wind of 25 mph with gusts to 45mph for Glasgow!! How does that work??

    Listened to a debate on Five Live today regarding "when Christmas decorations should be taken down" 5th or 6th of Jan? Our outside lights have been removed by the westerly gale and are now wrapped around the wife's car!!
