  1. These were taken about 2 hours ago and measured 12cm and counting in South East Sheffield. Only 100 meters above sea level. Beats the 1 - 4cm some were expecting for Sheffield.
  2. Thunder, lightning, rain, hail. East sheffield.
  3. Everything covered now. Even settling on the road. Grass, hedges, rooves. Saucer size flakes. 100m asl south east sheff
  4. Huge snowflakes in south sheff. Settling on cars and paths
  5. Heavy horizontal wet sleety snow in south sheffield. Very blustery
  6. Pit, We had some lightning over head in Hackenthorpe and plenty if rumbles of thunder plus some moderate rain from the 2 passing storms earlier. Plenty of hail too in Dinnington
  7. A few pics from earlier. Whilst clearing the snow, could see the range in depth between 10" and 14"
  8. Average of 26cm of snow in Dore, south west Sheffield. stopped snowing now but plenty of drifting going on.
  9. Yep mate, your right. Very squally small flakes intensely falling. Just up the road at ringinglow and Lodge moor will be hammered. The trees look so weighed down that they are going to fall over here.
  10. Yeah I know. I am 220 meters high though. Had 8 cm from last night and this evenings has topped it up nicely.
  11. Moderate snow shower with small flakes in south Sheffield left the lightest of dustings at around 4.30pm
