  2. I'm looking forward to this incoming warm few days, would be great if it also brings some light winds with, limited gusts, so i can go Hot Air Ballooning again. After a stunning March & April for ballooning, since May there has 5 really good ballooning days... We need conditions to be good for August when the uk hot air balloon festival picks up pace. Bring on warmer, drier weather with light winds, hopefully for July & August aswell for LONG periods! Mark Neal www.markneal.webs.com

  9. Good while it lasted aye!, Currently 0.6 here and D.P 0.4c, Cloudy skies... i just want it to go below freezing so i can keep the snow for christmas... Mark Neal Headington,Oxford P.s 3 different ways a chief forecaster has gone for. in the development of that high from south west.... after xmas.. 1. The milder air scores an easy victory and a rapid thaw ensues by Tuesday after a short spell of snow. 2. The front stalls down the middle of the UK giving a prolonged snowfall in places then fizzles out with only a limited incursion of less cold air resulting. 3. The front never even makes it across the Irish Sea and we stay in the cold regime with little or no snow resulting.
