  1. @itsnowjoke Yep, the Beetham Tower sounds like it's singing! gonna try and get some sleep but not sure how successful that is going to be.
  2. @moffat Yes, yellow warning until 1pm if. Well I think it is looking at the Met offices silly map.
  3. Think this is worse than Sunday, For here the higher gusts have been more frequent and for a longer period of time. Very rough out there and has been for a good couple of hours.
  4. Ooooo things are falling over on the construction site opposite! bit of late drama, think I may stay up a little longer and see what develops.
  5. To be fair it has ramped up here (wasn't difficult to ramp it up as it was more of a stiff breeze) last 10 mins have been a little more exciting.
  6. Nothing really happening at the moment here, just breezy. Maybe it's too early to say but did think this would be more interesting! obviously lots of places in the UK are seeing some stormy weather.
  7. Not going to lie since I moved to the centre 2 years ago I sort of stopped loving snow as It never settled, In fact seen as the rent has been increased by £400 we are looking to move some where in the high peak, so Im sure that will change again. But I am amazed to see actual snow in the centre part from 2010 I don't think I've seen it since. Looks like as a regional event we have done pretty well!! woo
  8. Getting a train from Lincoln tommorow afternoon to Manchester, a bit worried about the trains and really don't want a cancelled train on Christmas Eve!
  9. Good to know, Im round the corner from the video you took, the issue is the building is covered in scaffolding so can't see out!
  10. Knew I should have booked another night at the lake district! stuck in the centre, was thinking to get a hotel somewhere but the trains looks rubbish.
  11. -7 Currently eeeeeek, driving home today so that could be fun - hopefully the roads have been gritted well.
  12. Makes sense as I'm In Keswick and certainly felt chilly. Even had a couple if flakes if snow.
  13. Chilly today, perfect weather for a good walk. Nice in the sun! some sheltered spots are still iced up, been a perfect seasonal few days away. some brave ducks have left the little duck houses. log burner on now.
