    Well, I’ve got snow coming down and it is pitching so I’m thrilled! Been a long wait.

    Guys and gals - I need cheering up. A few flakes in the air and bright sunshine is all I’ve had near Padstow ?. Hoping tomorrow might fare a bit better. Have had to come on here and view your snow pics instead!

    Hi Fromey - you're near where I live (Constantine Bay) - hope we get something good. I quite like the sound of rain on a caravan roof but probably not good if you have little ones with you! Fingers crossed.

    I can hear thunder! Not much and it is a long way away but nevertheless a grumble or two.

    So quite a lot of interest over us in Cornwall at the moment - but it hasn't gone BANG! ... Yet. Is it likely to or is that later on this evening/tomorrow?

    Oh dear - how quickly the excitement fades.... Still, bloomin' freezing this morning on Padstow quayside - quite a bit of sun but a perishing wind. Hot chocolate and a cake sort of weather methinks.

    Lovely to see all the reports from Cornwall! Being on the coast we very rarely get anything at all so I'm pleased. Looks like Probus is kicking off!

    Lovely heavy wintry shower a few minutes ago - hail and SNOW!! Woohoo. A little has settled so I am a happy bunny.

    Ha ha - I wondered who would take the bait first! Probably too good to be true re snow in our neck of the woods but even a few flakes would be luvverly.

    Ooooh v. exciting - decidedly cooler here now. Think my weather station needs a rejig - saying 23 degrees at the mo. Looking forward to the next week or so - even if we don"t get anything, the thrill of the chase is quite fun. Would love a dangler......

    Thunder and lightning here - still some way off but looks to be more on the way judging by the radar

    Yes, can confirm have seen several over Newquay way in the past few minutes.

    Just had a random flash and bang of thunder - a long way out to sea judging by the time between the two but a nice surprise nonetheless. Must be on its way up the B. channel.

    Lovely 10 minute burst of distant thunder here from the cell located off the north Cornish coast. No visible lightning but interesting to watch nonetheless. Quite slow moving by the looks of it. South coast looks exciting at the moment too.

    First rumble heard just now - should be an interesting evening!

    Some impressive cg lightning - more than blizortung is showing. Storm appear to be trundling up over Newquay and along the coast to me. Getting darker as I type! Sky certainly looks full of fun for the next few minutes!

    I can hear thunder now - looks to have got quite interesting on the radar down our way!

    Have just had a few rumbles and cg from a cell just out to sea - looks to be trundling up the coast. Can be seen quite well on the radar. First storm of the year!
