  1. Still holding 31c here ,, not very often I will be heard to say "it is way too hot to sit out on the heat trap patio in full sun" Barefoot is a burner , must be well over 40c barely any wind to move the air around , time to go plan B and shift my sun lounger to the grass
  2. 31c here now in the "cool" shaded part of the garden , official station at Valley last reported in a 10am @ 29c
  3. Weather-history My fam home (NNW tip of I.o.A) and has clear visibility of the IOM , Mountains of Mourne NI, Cumbria / Lake district & hills in SW Scotland on clear days. My sis lives half way up Snowdonia outside Caernarfon about 1000'ASL and can see the whole of Anglesey and the Wicklows in Eire and Dublin , amazing views when weather permits ( not that often), for me I live in my late parents home about a mile from fam home "over the other side of the hill" I can see Holyhead mountain and a bit of the Irish Sea to my west I am 200' ASL and just about make out the Wicklows on gin clear days There was a webcam overlooking Snowdon on the Windy Website , but it appears to have disappeared Nonetheless I.o.A looking at Snowdonia again not that often they are this clear Marcus_surfer 27c here at 9am .. probably push 31/32c at the peak .. rare as rocking horse droppings
  4. cheese perhaps due to the feed off the north sea mate? I was up with the sun this morning to make the most of today and tomorrow's 30c+ , already warm outside - low 20s , expecting 31-32c here , quite rare to get 30c days Viz Sat - pretty much clear skies bar the low cloud incursion off the north sea for eastern areas , should get quite a rapid burn off / burn back through the morning
  5. In Absence of True Seasons ah sounds like a netweather team pub crawl is required around the UK
  6. emmett garland just spent two hours mowing a field (neighbours adjacent to my back garden ) I am sweating buckets , and got attacked by horse flies - little bar stewards , could do with a bit of cool down in the Irish Sea
  7. Cheshire Freeze If I had to choose two (M&F) it would be Phil Avery and Carol Kirkwood forecast delivery par excellance
  8. Cheshire Freeze oh yes good ol' Rob .. I second that mate
  9. clark3r Very pleasant indeed
  10. clark3r Coastal clean air mate plus extra humidity .. similar to here
  11. Phil Connors and @In Absence of True Seasons it might end up like this though and we know who would win in that one bad ass Begbie Trainspotting (1&2)
  12. Phil Connors lol indeed mate .. I could imagine the banter if we were all in a beer garden in the sun and heat having these conversations f2f ,, it would be a hoot
  13. danm mate I read that just as a bit of "north / south" split banter, I did n't take it literally probably because I'm in the middle .. funny old world eh Sun and heat .. bring it on
  14. Alderc 2.0 the south coast was forecast to be a tad cooler with the flow shifting more East / Se and drawing off the channel , per @Freeze ' s comment above
  15. dryfie Almost the perfect synoptics for the UK as a whole for those that enjoy Summer weather as "summer weather" not abusively hot in the south 30c or thereabouts and NI and Scotland get a chance to enjoy high 20s + with decent sunshine ,, I 'd take this every day for summer with the odd trough / breakdown thrown in the mix to keep water levels fresh
