  1. Had Worse indeedlydoodly Iceaxecrampon indeedlydoodly Had Worse indeed I am
  2. torrential rain being blown sideways… luckily got back 45 minutes ago from errands in Denton & Stockport left 1130am… was lovely sunny morning but breezy and chill in wind…
  3. Was 7c when I got up… end of rain was 5c at 1230… now 6.6c… chilly compared to yesterday’s 14.5c… cup of tomato soup… making cauliflower cheese to go with scotch eggs Paddy is making… attempting scotch eggs in air fryer
  4. 14.5c in bright/sunny periods but more generally overcast this afternoon… great for having the patios jet washed as well as carpets indoors cleaned… felt like spring again… esp with acers coming out and blossom in the sun rather than rain…
  5. Had Worse we’ve just cut a chicken in half and cooked it in the air fryer… I’m yet to be convinced but not really used to using one… to be fair crispy skin and juicy chicken… you got home ok after all the crazy road chaos whichever way you went this afternoon couldn’t get in or out of Glossop… traffic ludicrous
  6. Bright sunny Sunday chilly but blue skies enticing us to go for a walk when we get our act together hubby bouncing off the walls excited to do roast chicken in our first ever air fryer
  7. Iceaxecrampon sadly not mine it’s from a drone… (as the one below) but such a pretty village… reminds me of Cornwall villages…
  8. A Face like Thunder yes lovely Saltburn… the tram station at the bottom had a fire in January apparently… but wasn’t meant to open until April… not sure when it will open though… yes Seaview was where we were for tea… the restaurant and takeaway part was busy this evening… lovely area… only been out of season… October in 2019 and this time… in summer I can see it being rammed… especially with being so dog friendly
  9. Scuba steve indeedlydoodly… why we wanted a change of pace, place and mostly weather for four days… bus to Staithes today and went to Whitby on bus on Tuesday… really lovely relaxing change of scenery… last evening in Saltburn at the sea view seafood restaurant with their signature crab brioche
  10. Sun back out 15c lovely jubbly lamb shoulder roasted now to make pot of Irish stew
  11. Lovely sunny morning yesterday heavy rain second half of game yesterday and drive back home ️ ️ ️ Sunny warm in sunshine this morning… clouded up a bit… useable weather… just been for quick jaunt into town… making Irish stew and a Guinness to go with… Happy st Paddy’s Day
  12. Mild damp day precipitation mainly in the drizzle category… day for spring cleaning… cleared out three large cupboards and office resulting in car filled to brim for tip run tomorrow… hopefully drier weekend and next week
  13. Not looking forward to next week’s drizzle and sporadic rainfest…. atm Tuesday looks sunny and ok… afterwards up in the air… but sw winds and drizzle looks a certainty now… high pressure and actual spring would be welcome… wonder if we’ll get a one/two day heatwave with 40c plus again this summer?? Then rainfest thereafter???
  14. Chilly breezy (quite gusty overnight) drizzling hill fog…. Car finally sorted after being hit by milk van over mew years… dairy company really good and paid for repairs… Bathroom nearly there but pipework put in by bathroom fitter 7 years ago is proving a nightmare… hopefully sorted soon and dining room ceiling can be repainted next week after four separately sourced leaks in last three months booked to go back to saltburn by train week after next… will bus about to Whitby and along the coast… will be nice to get away from our building site of a home whatever the weather
  15. Had Worse applied to go to Durham university and went on an open day in 1999… haven’t been back since but I remember it being a really lovely city… might be good to go there with Paddy was thinking about two day in York then somewhere else for a couple…
