    This has been going on here for 47 mins now !!! fantastic ! garden is totally flooded ! I know the mind is a terrible thing but I swear I saw part of the cloud near me start to rotate !

    Still going here in failsworth (half way betweem manchester / oldham) it's still going on here 4 more flashes in the time I have typed this !

    and another little rumble (18:07) very dark to my right but very bright to the left, bring it on ! coming home from work past Bell Vue it looked like something out of a disaster movie the sky was evil looking ! wish i had taken my camera to work !

    manchester has had some heavy rain about 4:30-5pm I got soaked ! coming out of the city centre the roads where via bad. the water couldn't drain away fast enough !
