  1. My grandmother was the one who seemed to use it all the time. She was from Staffordshire, so maybe the word originates from there.
  2. Mizzling; this is a word that only my immediate family seem to use in the area where I live, Doncaster in northern England. It means when there's fine, spray-like drizzle, and it's misty. I'm wondering if people have any other terms for this type of weather?
  3. I'm not sure if this is a weather question, but it's something that's been on my mind for a long time. When ice ages occur do they happen in both hemispheres?
  4. My heating's not on at the moment but it has been on for the occasional today since last month.
