  1. Looks like this High Pressure to the South will do what it has all Autumn and give us some nice mild weather. I do not think with the set up looking like this that we will not have any snow until late February, early March.
  2. The Met while I appreciate are doing there best are leaving it a bit late are they not? I mean this is tommorow now not 120 plus hours out. Warnings for snow but then it is hedged as only falling as sleet on lower levels. All the severe wind indications are gone now? I am not sure this low is going to work as well as what they thought. I do not think that we will have the heavy snow and storm winds and if we do the Met are in a pickle as it will be so sudden that it will then be stated that 12 hour warning is still poor forecasting. Excuse my downgrading drone, perhaps I need that snow fix. If I get one I will be telling everyone I predicted it first, lol. 14.35 at Newbury now. Sucker for this prediction malarkey. lol
  3. This will never be a downgrade. The last low that hit was NOT downgraded and the BBC are confident to air warning of this for the South. Low pressure systems are getting more and more angry with all this talk of downgrading. If I asked you what were the odds during the past month we would have seen three bombers? Then what.
  4. No the guys on here have been correct in analysis that there would be no snow. GFS is a heartbreaker, you know it is bad for you, you know it will bring you down, you know it will walk out on you and break your heart, but those pictures of snow and hurricane bombers well it was fun while GFS my favourite love promised it all. Lol. Finished I will stick to the boring but safe seven day Met, or Bracknell. huh
  5. It seems that the past week the GFS has been trying to grapple with something it is thrashing and moving about on every single run. What is getting creepy however is that 18hrs, keeps, picking up on this aggressive low. I really think that this is all connected with the previous bomber we had in the North Sea. Argubly the minor details mean nothing at the moment, the bigger picture however is there are Bombers out there and GFS is confused. Sounds exciting but will it come to pass? All the same the beauty is in the models for me. lol
  6. As a betting man, I would put money that this GFS low that hits Scotland late on the 2nd Dec, will not be downgraded and will stay for the three days with as yet unseen strong winds and snow, even at lower levels. I beleive that Piers Corbyn predicted this to happen on the 2nd. That would be a bit of a coincidence so I am prepared to take Corbyn at his forecast.
  7. If you watch the current BBC forecast you can see the snow falling in the Atlantic West and North of Ireland. These nw winds are going to be a headache this week for the Met Office. I think that end of week snow over parts of the UK.
  8. Is this for real? I have in the past few days seen so many runs it is sick. Could anyone suggest what would have to happen to get the cold and snow on 2nd Dec? What would be the major card unseen to happen? Cheers.
  9. The 18hr GFS for 2 December. Is there any chance of snow from this? Thankyou.
