    Very light snow just started.

    Plenty of snow falling but it is too wet and not really sticking...almost sleety at times. I suspect those with elevation in Herefordshire are doing well out of this though ie: towards Kington.

    Light snow in Moreton-on-Lugg, just north of Hereford. Too wet to stick...looks like it's gone more sleety as I type this.

    another storm fired up now on the western fringe of hereford. many roads flooded locally and asda and tesco's shut due to flooding also.

    The Hereford storm is quite something. Continuous lightning - deep thunder and heavy winds (we've had continuous thunder for around 3 hours now from one storm or another). Lots of cloud rotation just before the main storm too.

    Hereford virtually cut off. Major incident declared.

    Severe flooding affecting Herefordshire today (and surrounding Counties). Many roads shut and properties flooded. River Wye not expected to peak until tomorrow morning - possibly around 5.5m - 5.8m which would be a recent record (it did hit 6m in the 1700's!) River Wye at Hereford Bridge RIVERLEVELS.UK River levels and flood alerts for the River Wye at Hereford Bridge, Herefordshire Rain continues to fall.

    Currently enjoying a thunderstorm between Hereford and Leominster. A bit of thundersnow, hail and now rain/sleet and very gusty.

    About an inch of snow just north of Hereford. We've had 10 hours of almost constant light snowfall here and it continues..

    A good inch of fresh snow in Herefordshire this morning and snowing well! Don't you just love an unscripted snow event (well it didn't look likely when I went to bed anyway!) Edit: No sooner has I typed this and it's stopped!!! However, forecast for tonight looks good

    Light persistent snow continues in Hereford and getting heavier if anything. The cause is an area of ppn by Worcester, pivoting south west.

    Light snow/snow pellets are also leaving a dusting on top of Friday's snow in Hereford

    Snow here is rapidly going from a dusting to a light covering. Quite steady snowfall now.

    Just had a snow shower in Herefordshire. It's left a good dusting. Eased off for now...
