  1. Dear weather, please improve soon. Thankyou.
  2. The last few days have felt like Jan round here. It's only the daylight that gives it away.
  3. Absolutely hammering it down again here. It's been on & off all night. Mini rivers down the sides of the road. The local farming land is done & dusted for this year, unless you want to grow rice.
  4. In Absence of True Seasons Thats a very good satellite pic showing the atlantic firing a continuous line of crap at the UK. It's been another day of cold wind & showers here with only fleeting glimpes of the sun. We need a major pattern change to bring any settled weather but the atlantic appears to be on non stop overdrive.
  5. The sun finally coming out late yesterday afternoon managed to push the temp up to 17c and it was a lovely evening. Looks like that could be the max though for the month if the met office outlook is to be believed. A lot of foliage still looks like mid-winter as well.
  6. After a promising start this morning (it was even briefly sunny) it’s now raining again although looking at the radar it should clear by mid-afternoon. Just can’t seem to get a complete day without it.
  7. TwisterGirl81 You are right, temps pushing 20c even up North used to be quite common in April. But with that 'global warming - climate change' (insert the latest on trend thing to blame here) we're lucky if it reaches, but more importantly feels like 10c!
  8. Wow, a bit of clearance & sunshine. I may stand corrected!
  9. Met office quote 'Early mist and fog clearing to leave a bright morning with patchy cloud and some sunny intervals'. Mmm, not really, it's cold and very grey.
  10. To give some idea how wet the ground is several holes have been dug near me by gas contractors. They're about 3ft deep and have about 2ft of water in them. I guess the water table must be very high.
  11. Azazel To get short term forecasts so wrong makes you wonder if the public are being trolled.
  12. 22nd June 2021 dawned frosty.... UK Observes Coldest June Night In 9 Years After Summer Solstice Is Colder Than Winter! : MarkVoganWeather.com WWW.MARKVOGANWEATHER.COM
  13. My word its a strong cold easterley tonight. I can hear it howling through the garden.
  14. Sat24 shows the back edge of the cloud cover crossing the Humber at around 12pm so we may indeed get some sun this afternoon.
  15. Well it is suppose to brighten up here according to all the forecasts I've looked at this morning. Looking at the radar that could be from around lunchtime. Until then it's cold, windy and grey. Very grey.
