Here is my rainfall to end August vs 2011 and 20 year average at my location.

Three broods totalling14 chicks have just left the nests here this week. They are all still hanging around the yard but parents looking after them. There are still huge numbers of flying insects available so these guys might make it to their winter home.

Here's an Excel sheet of weather for Jan 95 at Berwick, if anyone is interested. My memory of the year is not as clear as those above! I've only noted snow on one day - 27th. Excuse 'old' units! WXJan1995.xls

Here are my rainfall figures. Jan, Feb, Mar, much drier than average. May wettest since 1998. April, June, July are wettest recorded since records began in 1991. Annual average for this location = 659.2mm January 14.5 February 16.7 March 13.2 April 137.3 May 96.9 June 167.0 July 165.1 August 3.1 613.8
