    Had a bit of sleet earlier and the skies are looking a little darker again now. Expecting a little more sleet in the next couple of hours.

    a couple of flakes earlier today, and lying snow last week I think it was. Only lasted a few hours though.

    Heavy snow now landing so a light dusting over the roads and grass. Skies still look pretty dark.

    I know it has already snowed in some places in the UK but this is a fresh thread. When do you think it will snow in a part of the UK? No prizes to be won, just the knowledge that you win should be enough . No scientific input needed, just your best guesses, and if you feel like it, a short sentence why. So here is my guess.... 8/12/12 because my missus has planned a night out on this day so would like to see her slipping about in her heels PS it needs to be snow, sleety rain doesn't count .
