  1. Surprising Ayrs not got anything. Been quite heavy graupel here, left about 1 to 2 cm. Golf course heaving with kids sledging. That’s a few times it’s snowed in Troon this winter. Maybe not much but snow nonetheless.
  2. Long time just reading all the chat in here. Great reading all the banter lol. Seems Skelmorlie has even been hit with the easterly along with south of Glasgow and Johnstone. We had sugar icing yesterday and that’s it. You just know that Saturday is going to have the fateful too marginal!
  3. ?? feel for you, a westerly gives nothing. Tomorrow you’ll be singing or sledging
  4. What’s going on!!!! Troon’s sleety pish maker is broken ? It’s making snaw, about and inch and half. Need to get it fixed, not used to snow on the beach - new cocktail called for lol
  5. That’s made my night, love these cold sleety p*shy events. See living at the coast has its benefits lol
  6. Watch your hopes, it’s on and off rain here for the past half hour. Not even a sleety mix! Sod’s law.
  7. Yeah bring on the Thundersnow, Thundersleet, Thunder and rain, rain, horizontal dreich lol. Dont you just love being beside the seaside
  8. Don’t you just love the sound of sleety rain hitting the window. Almost as good as reading the cultured debates of a slider low not being fair, you’d think it is controlled by remote lol
  9. Hi, dont post much but just want to ask a question. Is there a wee feature to the North West heading our way. From the sat pictures it looks like its spinning with a defined centre - nothing on the fax charts http://www.yr.no/satellitt/europa_animasjon.html
  10. Hi all. I was wondering if anyone still uses the met office desktop widget, see my post in the techie forum. cheers http://forum.netweather.tv/topic/80109-met-office-desktop-widget/
  11. Had to laugh this morning. The words atrocious, bizzards, 100mph winds were used this morning but don't worry the met office have issued a yellow warning. Maybe if they included the words freezing, hell and over they might have upped it to amber. Lovely breezy day here this morning, odd heavy rain/sleet shower
  12. See the bare wee bit to the south west, thats me it is thats me woo hoo Can't wait, cold rain, yee bl***y ha
  13. http://www.yr.no/satellitt/europa_animasjon.html Check out the Scottish defence of the frontal assault. You can see the front bend so clear when it hits
  14. Is it me or is the band (accordinging to raintoday) further East at this time. It shows the rain into S.Ireland whereas the models show it still in the atlantic.
  15. I always think a topic is best suited for the cold weather. But saying that its dark and dank this morning
