  1. That's not set in stone though, I'm sure there's not a direct correlation mate!
  2. Who wants a cold snap in March? The snow will instantly turn into a slushy mess with the strength of the sun. Bring on the warm weather now!
  3. Well following yet another non event, it's very dull outside this morning. After all the hype following the SSW, it's been a bit of a let down. Bring on the nice warm spring sunshine now 😊
  4. I remember that event, it was quite something. I hope we see something similar this year!
  5. Well said and was exactly the point I was making. We should leave forecasts to those with the knowledge and experience to make them. I totally respect the experienced posters on here!
  6. The air has been far too dry to support vast quantities of snow. I never thought it would happen and it didn't. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think any of your predictions have materialised this winter!
  7. I see those predicting several inches of snow are quiet this morning. I think the realist amongst us knew that was never on the cards from the start!
  8. Possibly, but I still think it's unlikely (unless you live in Dover). Apart from the odd flurry, I think it will be predominantly dry in our neck of the woods.
  9. Exactly, the wind is more northerly, so will definitely not bring in anything off the continent. Also, it's a false return on the radar!
  10. I agree! Anybody could have written that with every winter scenario under the sun there!
  11. The band of snow is now melting faster than my Nephew's snowman. That's it for tonight.
  12. It definitely was interference on the radar. It seems to happen a lot in that area of the North Sea
  13. I'm not so sure. We need a stronger ENE flow and lower 850's for a true Thames streamer. Think it best to declare this game over tonight I'm afraid.
  14. I admire your enthusiasm, but sometimes it's best to take a step back and then get excited as and when things unfold. I too hope well all receive unexpected snowfalls etc.
