It is indeed, producing some heavy snow here, just opened the front door and all our footprints from this afternoon have filled in

I'm in north kent , nr sittingbourne, just wondering if we are in for much today, currently snowing.

Do you think this band is going far enough east to hit sittingbourne or will it be the medway towns and maidstone that get hit ?

A question for all you experts. Are we expecting more snow in North Kent ( nr Sittingbourne), I am trying to make a decision about going to work tonight. Although I work in a hospital my job is non clinical and our road is like an ice rink already.

Thanks for the reply, was a lovely surprise this afternoon, we had had snizzle all day and thought we where going to miss it , got the kids home from school and an hour later went to put some rubbish out and it was a complete whiteout. At least I can get some sleep tonight rather than avidly reading all you experts posts :-) Would be great if it happened hey

I don't live on sheppey but am currently at work there. We had blizzard conditions about two hours ago and has since slowed down to almost nothing. But good covering on the ground.
