light snow in bournemouth, snow pellets really but settling on dustin etc nothing great at the moment, but it's a start temp -2

Came over all black around midday today, I thought it would hammer it down, but it wasn't as bad as expected tho a bit of hail bouncing around in it. Sleety shower in Salisbury just before midday I was told.

IOW weather lightning detector thing online shows strikes all around me, but I hear nothing, even being on a busy road shouldn't make that much difference. It's very dark, yellowy grey overcast skies, a tad misty. Cool breeze also.

light dusting this morning in Bournemouth, melted fairly quick.

Was snowing heavily here for 10 minutes, settled everywhere, doubt will be any more looking at radar, unless the load over wales sneaks a little east and south.

Friend in Kent says light snow

Small band of precip just brushing the south coast, fine snow flakes at present, but reports on Isle of Wight that the flakes have gotten bigger and settling in the last 15 minutes. Looking forward to tonight as apparently some wintry precip is to push through the channel and everywhere wouth of the M4 is at risk of seeing some snow.

Jealous of you Casper! I could make it to Swindon by 7.... *thinks about it* Died down for 10 minutes but becoming increasingly heavy now, snow making ground colder, starting to settle albeit slushy. But it's a good start temp 1c

Heavy light snow here, hasn't stopped all day, went sleety for an hour, nothing settle, turning back to snow and getting heavier. Looks like a heavy area of precip coming this way too.

Been snowing ince 10:45am, nothing settled, started off moderate, died down in the past hour.

I second that snowkissed. Snowed non stop since 10:45am and yet to settle, flakes a little bigger then at first.
