Don't post in here often but just realised we're under yellow warning for snow today which appears to come out of nowhere! Also new warnings have been added so we're under a warning everyday this week including a triple threat tomorrow.
That front seems to me like its moving far more south west then it's supposed to, probably driven by wishful thinking more than facts but I've got a good feeling about this one for us.
Question for all you experts - there seems to be a load of PPN growing on the west coast of Ireland, is that what were expecting tomorrow? As it seems it will get here quicker and be heavier than forecast?
I'm still really new to this but what's that forming over the west of Ireland on the radar? Surely that's far too early for this front coming in? And wouldn't it very quickly turn to snow considering the cold temps tonight?
It looks like the MetO have updated some of the warnings to amber recently, doesn't affect me yet but it's good to see some potential of some heavy snow!
Completely agree, it's been very disappointing and frustrating at times. Also annoying when little rissington is only 19 miles away but led the nation with 30cm yesterday.
Yellow warning from MetO for snow for us just added also amber slightly south as well - somebody push it up north east slight by about 50 miles please.
