Day 10 every mo update for 2 months has had N or E winds and BA doesn’t think the ssw will affect the trop

Yes this easterly wind thing really helps east of the hills. Onwards and upwards. I think there’s the best hope of winter in the next 4 weeks. signing off for a bit.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. My best snow experiences have come from the NW in the form of big, red, heavy showers out of the Irish sea. I'm shocked Glossop isn't getting a pasting.

After all the model analysis and checking every dam chart available for 5 days you have to say it's disappointing. The biggest problem is every 'slider' or low pressure system that I have observed in the last 15 years has stopped short of the NW, rotated and sunk SE giving the midlands and everywhere else a good dumping. I have been fuming that the snow didn't reach the NW. This time is has, hasn't rotated but its too bloody warm. Never mind onto the next chase.

I enjoyed the chase as much as today so not too bothered it’s raining. Just not cold enough. I’ll be amazed if anywhere in the yellow warning area ends up with 5cm
