    Can't believe how much grumbling is going on. How many years have we waited for charts to look the way they do now. So much potential going forward, especially this early into the winter.

    After what we have all witnessed over the last few days I think we can all agree that even though it's currently forecasted get rather mild into the new year we can all say with confidence that it could flip back within in a short period of time... so think we just need to take what we see with a pinch of salt at the moment

    I remember back in Feb 19 when the weather apps were giving rain for cornwall and soon as the weather front hit land it turned readily to snow. Even the metoffice got it wrong and it shows that no matter what the charts say about snow depths it can change extremely quickly.

    hillbilly, why do you feel that it should be locked no one here is forcing you to read it! I in fact enjoy seeing what people have to say about the coming autumn/winter as this is the only time during the year I come back to the chat.

    Update from the BBC website : 360 households are without electricity on the Lizard peninsula in south Cornwall, because of a fault on the overhead power lines. Western Power Distribution says it's weather related.
