I have only 3 Plums this year, this being due to the Snow that fell whilst it was blossoming in the spring.
My Sweetcorn is also not great. Better than last year which was dire, but not as good as 2005. Pumpkins aren't anything to write home about either, infact the only this doing well is Peas! :lol:
My Neighbour kindly erected a large shed adjacent to my veg plot, which has enforced a shade vs sunlight experiment on both my beetroot and onions.
The result of this.......onions do not grow well in the shade. Beetroot just grow slower.
This means most of my onions are the size of small marbles. Lovely!
