  1. Well, it shoukd become slightly warmer. At low levels temos are reaching 8c even with pretty low uppers, so i can only see them getting warmer really. In terms of weather, i believe any breakdown of the cold will introduce more unsettled conditions.
  2. I think its fair to say that any sigificant snow risk has now diminised and the cold will begin to slowly moderate over next 10 days.
  3. This feature has cropped up on a couple of frames now. Too far out to say whether this will be snow and where its likely to affect. However, these small features tend to track NE and skim the SE rather than the SW.
  4. There is snow falling and settling across the water in France. Its now 0.5c in Alderney and snow is begining to settle - albit very wet. Jersey may see some wet snow, but this is unlikely to accumulate to anymore than a slushy 1-2cm.
  5. Local temps have fallen in Jersey over the past hour to 2c and 0.8c in Alderney, where it is now snowing but not settling. They maybe some snow in Jersey later for you.
  6. Yes, the front currently to the South of Cornwall is weakening and pushing away. Temps in Truro are 2.8c and 2.6c in Jersey where it is either raining or sleeting. There was a period of snow in Alderney earlier where temps were 1.6c.
  7. Temps have risen in Jersey and S Cornwall over the past hour. Confirms that any precipitation is of rain.
  8. Yes DP are 0 degree, but surface temps are around 3 degrees. Slightly cooler on Sark, where its 2.3 degrees.
  9. Rain in southern Cornwall will push away later. Very unlikely to bring any settling snow.
  10. It will be wet in Jersey. Local temps are around 5 degrees at present.
  11. With temps of 7 degrees there today, i would say it will be wet and windy in Jersey tomorrow, not snowy.
  12. Indeed, but with a lack of lying snow and the strength of the sun, surface temps can actually rise quite well. This happens in tundra landscapes every spring. Will be cold nights though.
  13. The models continue the colder weather for somewhat longer, but the threat of significant snowfall has now reduced in the outlook with temps moderating slightly next week.
